Public interest health technologies are essential for addressing critical health challenges, but many promising innovations stall after receiving their initial funding. Through our work supporting organizations building these technologies, we’ve seen that they commonly face a "missing middle"—a vital support gap that prevents them from achieving sustainable growth and widespread impact.
Digitalis Commons created Scale Studio to bridge that gap.
Through this new accelerator, we guide established, high-potential organizations through the difficult transition from early traction to lasting scale, ensuring vital health solutions reach the communities they are meant to serve.
The Studio provides focused support to a small set of exemplar organizations facing this challenge. As technologists with deep expertise in building and scaling businesses, we offer a proven toolkit to meet these challenges head-on. This Studio is designed to provide active support over six months to each organization. These insights will develop into a generalized roadmap designed to help others.

Scale Studio Partnerships
Digitalis Commons has partnered with Medic Mobile, steward of the Community Health Toolkit (CHT), an open-source health technology designed to support community health workers in low- and middle-income countries.
Digitalis Commons supports this initiative to expand the use of learning health networks.
