Susan Rosenthal

Expert-in-Residence

Susan has close to twenty years of life sciences industry experience, spanning portfolio management, commercialization, business development, and corporate strategy. She has worked with teams from many therapeutic areas and modalities as well as across early- and late-stage R&D. Most recently, Susan has been leading the $1.1Bn LifeSci NYC initiative at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, including investments in infrastructure, translational R&D, company growth, and talent programs as well as leading several projects to build lab and testing capacity for NYC during the early years of COVID-19.

Prior to her current roles, Susan spent eight years leading teams at Pfizer focused on market and business development for biosimilars, new product planning, and R&D portfolio strategy. She also spent three years at Deloitte Consulting, leading life sciences projects related to clinical development, marketing and sales, therapeutic areas strategy, and startup company growth. Susan earned her MBA with Honors from NYU and her Bachelor’s degree in economics from MIT.
