Jahan Ali

Dr. Jahan Ali is a founder of Longitude Bio, a firm that provides project-based consulting to bio-pharma companies and nonprofits. Jahan has spent the last 25 years at the early-stage biotech commercialization, investment and entrepreneurship, which has provided her with a unique lens to help her clients.

Most recently, she led life science ecosystem activities for SymBiosis Capital, a life science investment firm. Prior to that, she led the entrepreneurship program at Weill Cornell Medicine, leading programs to help entrepreneurs succeed. She has also worked as the Director of Business Development at International AIDs Vaccine Initiative and led the life science investments at the Partnership Fund, a private fund founded by Henry Kravis. Jahan’s expertise includes creating programs for entrepreneurs, and getting funding from several types of investors, including SBIR/STTR, NYS and US EDA for initiatives.

Jahan has a Ph.D. from New York University School of Medicine, and did a post-doc at Rockefeller University. She is an advisor to a number of companies, including NomoCan and VoiceLove.
